General Terms and Conditions
Access to and browsing this site are subject to these General Terms and Conditions of Use, which integrate the General Conditions of Sale of the online shop www.pegadasocks. com and the Privacy Policy presented in the page entitled "Privacy Policy" presented by the trading company PEGADA MISTERIOSA - SOCIEDADE DE COMÉRCIO DE VESTUÁRIO LDA, NIPC 517488124, with registered office at Estrada Nacional 105, S1.4 - Fábrica ASA 4835-164 Guimarães, Portugal, hereinafter referred to as PEGADA SOCKS by reference to the trademark of which it is the owner.
Introduction
Sales made through the online shop www.pegadasocks.com presuppose acceptance by the customer of the General Terms of Sale, which are established in compliance with the legislation applicable to the e-commerce sector.
PEGADA SOCKS reserves the right, however, to alter these General Terms of Sale without prior notice and is obliged to publish any alterations on this website.
PEGADA SOCKS cannot be held responsible for any events arising from the unavailability of the site, whatever the duration of this and also reserves the right to restrict access to some areas of the site for technical reasons or to comply with legal obligations.
Object
The object of these General Terms and Conditions of Use is to define the conditions of access to and navigation of the website by the customer wishing to make purchases from the online shop. The General Terms and Conditions of Sale aim to regulate the operational terms of the commercial transactions carried out between PEGADA SOCKS and the Client. The Privacy Policy aims to identify the measures of privacy protection with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of data of natural persons, including the tools for personalized management of personal data provided by customers.
1 - General Conditions of Sale
Ordering and Purchasing Process
Deadline and payment methods - After completion of the order process in the customer's personal account, the customer has a period, indicated in the selected payment method, to make the payment. After this deadline, the order will be cancelled.
1.1 PEGADA SOCKS offers the following payment methods for purchases made in the online shop
Credit Card
You may pay by credit card and take advantage of the liquidity advantages and payment terms offered by your bank.
All transactions on our website are secure.
Is it safe to pay with my card online?
PEGADA SOCKS uses a sophisticated fraud detection and prevention mechanism. This solution makes it possible to verify the authenticity of payments made online while safeguarding the integrity and security of customer data and identification.
This security is made possible by SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology, which encrypts communications between the client's computer and our server so that they cannot be intercepted. As such, PEGADA SOCKS reserves the right to refuse payment of an order for a transaction that is deemed to be illicit. Any and all activities deemed illegal will be immediately reported to the appropriate authorities.
3D Secure: 3D Secure is a communication protocol developed to improve the security of online payments and enable the authentication of the credit card user with the credit card issuing bank. When making a payment at an online shop, a process is triggered to check whether the card used is valid. If it is, the security systems associated with the 3D Secure protocol verify the identity of the customer, using, in real time, the credit card issuer. This validates the customer's identity and informs the shop system that the card used is legitimate.
The goal is to protect cardholders by reducing the likelihood of fraudulent use of their cards and improving transaction performance. This protocol is used by Visa as "Verified By Visa" and Mastercard as "Secure Code".
PayPal
Paypal is a secure method of payment used worldwide. For more information on this payment method, please visit www.paypal.com.
Save data for future Paypal transactions:
By subscribing to this option, the customer will not need to access the Paypal page on a next purchase. The amount of the purchase in question will be automatically debited from the Paypal account used when subscribing to this option.
At any time, the customer can access the Paypal account and remove this option. To do this, he should go to the menus Profile >My Money >My pre-approved payments. There, all pre-approved payments will appear and all you have to do is cancel the payment associated with PEGADA SOCKS.
Important note: PEGADA SOCKS does not store any login data from the customer's Paypal account.
ATM Multibanco
Payments by Multibanco can be made through the ATM network or through your Homebanking.
At the end of your order, an ATM reference will be generated. The customer will receive this reference in the order confirmation email.
To make payment at an ATM, the customer must select the option "Payment of Services/Purchases" and enter the corresponding entity, reference and amount.
Bank Transfer
If the customer prefers not to pay the order at the time of purchase, he may choose to make payment later by bank transfer. We will only send the order once we have bank confirmation that the transfer has taken effect in our account.

Payshop
You can also make your payment in a Payshop shop.
At the end of your order, a Multibanco reference will be generated. The customer will receive this reference in the order confirmation email.
Shipping
All orders completed and paid for by Credit Card, PayPal, Multibanco and Payshop will be shipped the same day, provided that payment has been made by 12:00 noon on a working day. Orders paid after that time will be shipped the next working day.
With the option of payment by bank transfer, the order will be dispatched the day we receive confirmation of payment from the bank.
If we have any questions regarding the order (delivery address, payment confirmation, out of stock products, etc.), we will contact the customer through our Customer Support. The order will not be shipped until we get a response to our message. If we do not get any reply, we will cancel the order and refund you.
1.2 Delivery Process
On confirmation of payment, the customer will receive a confirmation e-mail with the respective order form.
Orders are delivered Monday to Friday, except on local or national holidays, to the address indicated by the customer when placing the order.
The customer can receive their order wherever they wish (except at P.O. boxes), from Monday to Friday. To do this, simply provide us with the address where you will be present between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. An attempt of delivery will be made by a courier of the carrier.
NOTICE: It is not possible to choose a specific delivery time as this will depend on the route set by the carrier for the courier on the day of delivery.
The provision of an incorrect or incomplete delivery address may cause it to be returned to Pegada Socks, resulting in additional shipping costs for the client if he/she wishes it to be resent. We recommend that you always make sure that the delivery address given when registering your order is correct and complete. Once your order has been processed, it is not possible to change the delivery address or billing details you have given.
The order will be sent by one of the following services:
CTT or CTT Expresso:
With the CTT or CTT Expresso service, the order will be sent to the address selected when you registered the order.
In case of absence, a notification will be left for the recipient to pick up the package at the post office of his residence area. The deadline to pick up the package is 5 working days from the delivery attempt date. To pick up the package, the receiver must present the notification or code left by the courier, as well as his or her identity card or citizen card. If the order is not collected within 5 working days, it will be returned to us.
If the delivery address given by the client is incorrect or incomplete, the courier of the CTT will not have form to leave a notification, so the order will enter immediately in the process of return to Pegada Socks.
Delivery time
Mainland Portugal
Once your order is dispatched, we guarantee a maximum delivery time of 5 working days.
Madeira and Azores
Once dispatched your order, we guarantee a maximum delivery time of 8 working days.
Shipping costs
The shipping costs are automatically calculated by our system.
Shipping costs are automatically updated as the customer adds items to the shopping cart.
The offer of shipping costs on orders over 49.99 euros does not apply to islands (Azores and Madeira) and international shipments.
Refund of shipping costs
If the reason for the return of the order is the responsibility of PEGADA SOCKS, we will refund the respective shipping costs (e.g. defective products or products different from the ones actually ordered).
For the refund to be made, regardless of the payment method, the customer will have to provide their bank details.
The customer will be able to choose between a bank refund or a refund coupon that can be used on a future order. The coupon will be valid for 12 months from the date it is created. After this period, no refund of any kind will be given.
If the reason for the failed delivery and return of the order is the responsibility of the freight forwarder, regardless of the payment method chosen, the customer should contact PEGADA SOCKSl so that we can resolve the situation with the freight forwarder.
Order cancellation
You may only cancel your order if it is not yet being processed. If this is the case, you will have to contact PEGADA SOCKS by phone on the following number: 912718737.
Cancellation of orders is only possible through the aforementioned process. Any request made by any other means cannot be answered.
1.3 Returns and Exchanges
Returns
If the customer wishes to return one or more items, he or she may do so within 15 days after receiving the order, provided the following conditions are met
- Possession of the purchase invoice;
- The products must be returned with the label and in the same conditions in which they were received;
- The products must not have any smell, use mark or any alteration in relation to the time of receipt of the product, including being subject to washing by the client.
To exercise your right of return, the customer should contact our Customer Support, through the e-mail pegadasocks@gmail.com, specifying the order number and the description or reference of the product(s) you wish to return. The refund can be made by bank payment method or through a refund coupon, which is valid for 12 months from the date it is issued. After this period, there will be no place for a new refund.
The customer must also take into account if the product to be returned was purchased as part of a promotional campaign and if, for this reason, he/she has benefited from a free product. If this is the case, you should return not only the product in question, but also the offer that was given with your purchase. Both products must comply with the aforementioned guidelines.

If we receive an article that does not meet the conditions mentioned above, the customer will lose the right to be refunded and will have 10 days to collect the article(s) in our facilities, you can also request a new shipment, bearing all the shipping costs.
Exchanges
The client must return the item(s), request a refund and make a new purchase. The whole return process is described in the item Returns.
Refund methods
PEGADA SOCKS will do its best to reimburse the client promptly, however, a maximum period of 15 days from the reception of the return at our warehouses is safeguarded.
For the refund to be made, regardless of the payment method, the customer will have to provide their bank details.
The customer may also choose to be reimbursed via a discount coupon, regardless of the original payment method. The coupon will be valid for 12 months from the date it is created. After this period, no refund of any kind will be made.
Costs of return
If PEGADA SOCKS is notified and it is confirmed that an error has occurred in the product(s) despatched or that a defective product(s) has been despatched PEGADA SOCKS will bear the costs of the return by collecting the product(s) in question from the delivery address. To this end, a customer service employee of PEGADA SOCKS will contact the customer to schedule the collection and to provide any further clarification on this matter.
If there is no error on the part of PEGADA SOCKS in the shipment of the product and the customer wishes to make a return, the return costs will be borne by the customer.
1.4 Product Information
We strictly follow all necessary procedures to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products presented on the site are correct. However, there may be situations where product information, including prices and promotions have not been correctly published. In these cases PEGADA SOCKS reserves the right not to process orders with these products. Should the customer place an order for these products, the Customer Support team will contact the customer and inform him of the impossibility of proceeding with the process.
Orders may also not be shipped for other reasons, such as:
- product out of stock;
- inability to obtain payment authorization;
- order considered fraudulent.
All products, campaigns, promotions and offers are limited to the physical stock available and/or the units stipulated for the campaign.
Regardless of the payment method, if the order contains a product for which there is no physical stock left, it will be removed from the order and, after contacting the customer and if he confirms this desire, the remaining products will be sent.
The refund can be made through the bank payment method or through a refund coupon, which is valid for 12 months from the date of issue. After this period, there will be no further refund.
PEGADA SOCKS may change prices without notice.
Payments are always made in euros, even when prices are shown in other currencies. Some banks may charge exchange rates. PEGADA SOCKS is totally unaware of this fact and assumes no responsibility for it.
1.5 Promotional Codes
The promotional codes available are not combinable with other promotional codes.
All promotional codes automatically sent by e-mail are not combinable with products on promotion, other promotional codes, nor with the offer of shipping costs on orders over 49.99€.
When big discount campaigns are in progress (for example, promotions of 50% in the entire website), promotional codes (from influencers, e-mail, etc.) are not valid.
1.6 Suggestions and Complaints
The opinion of our customers is very important to us, since it allows us to improve the services we provide. Therefore, if for any reason our customers are not satisfied with our services, or if they have any suggestions, we would appreciate if they could take a few minutes to report any situation, preferably by sending a message to the Customer Support service.
If the complaint is related to a specific order, customers have 30 days from the receipt of the order to contact our Customer Support service, reporting the problem detected.
If the customer has received a defective or damaged product, or if the product received is different from the one the customer actually ordered, the customer must attach some photographs in which it is clearly visible both the problem detected and the state of the box in which the order was delivered.
The customer must also keep in his or her possession, until otherwise indicated by the Customer Service Department, both the defective, damaged or exchanged product and the respective order box.
